The ULTRA-TRAIL Mt. FUJI 2023 KENTO TAMURA won the men’s KAI with a time of 6:45:15
On the afternoon of April 22, KENTO TAMURA arrived at the finish line of the KAI category of the ULTRA-TRAIL Mt. FUJI 2023 at Fuji-Q Highland Conifer Forest (Fujikawaguchiko Town and Fujiyoshida City). He became the champion of the men’s category with a time of 6 hours, 45 minutes, and 15 seconds.
The ULTRA-TRAIL Mt. FUJI is an international trail running race held at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The event is organized based on world-standard environmental protection measures and operations. This year's event is the largest ever with about 3,400 participants. Also, for the first time in four years since 2019, overseas runners are also participating. This year, the race has new names for two race categories being held: the 164.7 km distance "FUJI" and the 68.4 km distance "KAI".
